Behavior Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at Ad Astra Behavior Analytic Services. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based behavioral interventions to children with unique abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Implement behavioral interventions to foster positive behaviors and skill development in individuals with autism and related disorders.
- Collaborate with families to provide guidance, support, and training to empower them to continue the interventions at home.
- Work closely with a team of professionals to provide individualized care and make data-driven decisions to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records to track progress and inform treatment plans.
- Experience working directly with children, particularly in educational, therapeutic, or healthcare settings.
- Completed coursework in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field.
- Background in healthcare or a similar environment where you've supported individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a home setting and build rapport with clients and families.
- Flexibility to work part-time between 3 PM and 8 PM, Monday through Friday (Saturday is available but optional).
- Competitive hourly rate ranging from $20 to $26.
- Additional benefits, including compensation for same-day client cancellations, travel time, and mileage reimbursement.
- Opportunity to participate in the RBT Certification Program and become a Registered Behavior Technician with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
- Supervision and support from experienced BCBAs.
