Food Service Worker

Summary: Prepare and serve food to students, faculty, and staff in a fast-paced dining environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Prepare ingredients for menu items, including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure ingredients according to recipes and production standards.
- Carry heavy trays of food to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Store food in designated areas following proper wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and equipment to team members.
- Utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and serving food in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all sanitation and safety requirements.
