Job Summary

Aramark is seeking a skilled Food Service Worker Lead to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of food preparation, portioning meals, and serving our customers. With guidance from your manager, you will learn on the job and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a team player who is organized, focused, and accountable. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean work station, ensuring accurate portions, and handling customer complaints in a professional manner. If you have a passion for food service and a desire to learn and grow, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead food preparation and portioning for the day
  • Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations
  • Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions
  • Maintain accurate temperature logs and ensure food quality
  • Responsible for taking samples of all food items prior to serving
  • Alert management to any quality issues and pull food items that do not meet expectations
  • Complete opening and closing station checklists
  • Greet customers and handle complaints in a professional manner
  • Coordinate and assist in maintaining a clean work station
  • Ensure accurate disposal of waste and transfer supplies and equipment as needed
  • Assist with daily safety observations and report any hazards to management
Requirements
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Serve Safe Certification
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Food service experience preferred
  • Requires frequent lifting and transporting of hot food items
