Overview of the Retail Sales Associate Role at H&M
H&M is seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Associate, also referred to as a Sales Advisor, to enhance our customer experience. In this position, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service while contributing to the store's overall sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by providing assistance and sharing your knowledge of products and fashion trends.
  • Facilitate a smooth shopping experience for customers through effective store operations and meticulous garment care.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to create an environment that surpasses customer expectations.

This position aligns with H&M's standards, policies, and legal obligations, reporting to Department Managers with a dotted line to Department Supervisors.

Daily Activities:

  • Welcome and engage with customers to deliver outstanding service in both service areas and on the sales floor.
  • Keep the sales floor organized by arranging, displaying, and merchandising products according to H&M's guidelines.
  • Receive, unpack, and label merchandise promptly to maximize selling opportunities.
  • Process transactions, manage sales, and inform customers about the H&M Loyalty program.
  • Adhere to safety, security, and operational protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should have a passion for customer service, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, creativity, and a willingness to learn. Physical capabilities to perform various tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and engaging in repetitive motions, are also required.
