Overview of the Retail Sales Associate Role at H&M
At H&M, we are in search of a Retail Sales Associate, internally referred to as a Sales Advisor. This position is pivotal in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring our clientele remains fashionable while also enhancing the store's sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Place customer satisfaction at the forefront by providing assistance and sharing insights on products and fashion trends.
  • Facilitate a smooth shopping experience for customers through effective store operations and meticulous garment care.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to form a united front that surpasses customer expectations.

This position adheres to H&M's standards, policies, and legal guidelines, reporting to Department Managers with a dotted line to Department Supervisors.

Daily Activities:

  • Welcome and engage with customers to deliver exceptional service in both service areas and on the sales floor.
  • Keep the sales floor organized by arranging, displaying, and merchandising products in accordance with H&M standards.
  • Receive, unpack, and label new merchandise promptly to maximize selling opportunities.
  • Handle transactions, manage sales, and inform customers about the H&M Loyalty program.
  • Adhere to safety, security, and operational protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should possess a passion for customer service, be skilled at multitasking in a dynamic environment, be creative, and be eager to learn. Physical capabilities to perform various tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and engaging in repetitive motions, are also essential.
