Responsibilities

The Head of Talent Acquisition will develop recruiting strategies and processes to position Vectrus to competitively attract and acquire the right talent to meet current and future business needs. This includes:

  1. Developing a compelling vision for talent acquisition within the company, partnering with various areas of the business to identify needs and define initiatives and metrics to achieve this vision.
  2. Managing projects and processes, providing guidance and support for developing and implementing cost-effective recruiting strategies, and leading the development of the Talent Acquisition global strategy aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  3. Building sourcing and pipeline strategies, creating and implementing creative sourcing strategies for open requisitions, and building a continuous talent pipeline through various sourcing tools.
  4. Leading the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring the end-to-end recruiting process is successful in a high-volume, dynamic, and diverse environment, and developing processes, tools, and training to enable HR and hiring managers to define positions, screen candidates, and make quality hiring decisions.
  5. Developing candidate branding strategies, building and enhancing the outward-facing branding and marketing for candidates, and promoting the company's reputation as a top employer.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  1. A minimum of twelve (12) years' progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with eight (8) years' experience in a senior management capacity, and experience leading recruiting in mid- to large-size global defense contracting companies.
  2. Experience recruiting for all types and levels of talent from high volume, entry-level to executive, and experience leading cross-functional projects, managing and resourcing day-to-day full life cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing all the way through onboarding.
  3. Experience with employment law, interviewing regulations, and state requirements, and preferred experience leading merger and acquisition and other rapid onboarding activities.
