Senior Compounder – Full Time

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Compounder, you will play a crucial role in the formulation and mixing of various products according to established recipes. Your primary duties will include:

  • Compounding: Precisely measure, weigh, and blend raw materials to create batches of personal care products in accordance with specified formulas and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Documentation: Keep comprehensive records of all compounding activities, including lot and batch numbers, temperatures, and any deviations from the established processes. Ensure that all documentation is thorough, accurate, and submitted promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to guarantee that products meet the highest quality standards. Monitor production processes to maintain consistency and address any potential quality issues.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow all company safety guidelines and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while handling hazardous materials.
  • Equipment Management: Operate and maintain compounding machinery, including mixers and scales, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and functioning correctly. Report any equipment issues to the maintenance team immediately.
  • Physical Demands: Be prepared to spend the majority of your workday on your feet, lifting and moving heavy materials as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team members to meet production targets. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow and timely batch completion.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, safety, and product quality.
  • Time Management: Effectively manage your time to ensure all tasks align with the production schedule, prioritizing based on urgency and importance.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years in a compounding or mixing role within personal care, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial manufacturing equipment and procedures.

Hours: 7am-4pm Single Day Shift

Compensation: Starting at $23/hr, adjusted based on experience.
