Senior Compounder

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compounder to join our team at Merit Manufacturing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mixing and compounding products according to precise formulas, ensuring the highest quality and consistency of our products.

• Compounding: Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials to produce batches of personal care products according to specified formulas and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all compounding activities, including lot numbers, batch numbers, temperatures, and any deviations from the process.
• Quality Control: Follow all safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure that products meet the highest quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe handling practices when working with hazardous materials.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain compounding equipment, including mixers, blenders, and scales, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and functioning correctly.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a compounding or mixing role within a personal care, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and documentation skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, good communication skills, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial manufacturing equipment and procedures.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
