Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Coordinate implementation of EH&S programs, activities, and initiatives with facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and maintain standardized EH&S processes and procedures to promote consistency across facilities.

  • Assist in the development of training content and delivery to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely and effectively.

    ">">
  • Evaluate EH&S practices, metrics, and culture at assigned facilities to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans.

    ">">
  • Support facility leadership in the investigation of significant safety incidents and assist in developing strategies to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of EH&S initiatives.

Requirements

">

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EH&S professional with a proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Management, Occupational Safety, or Industrial Hygiene.

    ">">
  • At least 5 years of experience in EH&S, preferably in a supervisory or management role.

    ">">
  • Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations and standards related to EH&S.

    ">">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

    ">">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.

    ">">
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in Spanish a plus.

    ">">
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program or equivalent preferred.

Work Location

This position will be based in Amsterdam, NY, with travel required to assigned facilities throughout Eastern North America (approximately 25% of the time).
