Regional EH&S Manager

The Gund Company seeks a dedicated Regional Environmental Health & Safety Manager to oversee the implementation of environmental health and safety processes across multiple locations in Eastern North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a positive safety culture, recognizing and controlling hazards, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the development and implementation of EH&S programs, activities, and initiatives with facilities.
- Ensure best practices are shared and standardized across facilities.
- Assist in the creation of training content and deliver education and training programs.
- Conduct regular audits of EH&S practices, metrics, and culture at assigned facilities.
- Develop plans to address performance gaps and improve overall EH&S performance.
- Support facility leadership in investigating significant safety incidents.
- Assist with workers' compensation claims as needed.
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years of experience as a dedicated environmental, health, and safety practitioner in a manufacturing or similar environment is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in safety engineering or environmental management is strongly preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, along with computer literacy, are essential.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations is required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Experience working with Canadian and Mexican safety regulations is also preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $108,000+
