Position Overview
This role involves significant field-based travel to engage with clients and prospects. Your primary responsibility will be to drive market penetration for our diverse range of products within your designated territory, adhering to company policies and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver educational resources and support to Medicare beneficiaries, ensuring they have access to essential health insurance options.
- Identify potential enrollees and assess their eligibility for the Advantage Medicare program.
- Establish a strong presence in the local community to foster enrollment opportunities.
- Conduct home visits and personalized consultations to facilitate the enrollment process.
- Promote the Advantage program at various community venues, including hospitals and senior centers.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of covered and non-covered benefits, exclusions, and exemptions.
- Assist members in navigating healthcare services and addressing their transportation needs.
- Stay informed about marketing guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor competitive products and marketing strategies, providing insights to management.
- Engage in outreach efforts, including telemarketing, as required.
- Participate in training sessions, sales meetings, and special events to enhance your skills.
- Complete enrollment applications accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide reports on territory operations, product acceptance, and competitive conditions.
- Field-Based Travel: 90% - Office/Hub: 10%
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of one year of experience in marketing, sales, or community relations, ideally within managed care or Medicare environments. Bilingual candidates, particularly in Spanish, are encouraged to apply. A valid driver's license may be required for certain plans.
Licensure:
State Accident and Health Insurance Agent License is necessary. A current state driver's license is also required.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $46,000 to $79,200 annually. Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401K plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and a flexible work environment. Actual compensation will be adjusted based on individual qualifications and experience.
