About the Role

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a talented individual to lead our diversity strategy efforts in clinical trials. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to enhance diversity in clinical trials, working closely with stakeholders across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of a diversity plan to enhance clinical trial awareness and recruitment in diverse patient populations.
  • Engage with stakeholders across Global Clinical Operations, R&D, and the enterprise to ensure alignment and coordination of diversity efforts.
  • Partner with enterprise colleagues to develop and maintain relationships with diversity-focused sites and patient organizations to gain insights into their clinical trial experiences.
  • Collaborate with RCO and BI&A to contribute to site selection and ensure diversity representation in clinical trials.
  • Actively seek opportunities to drive diversity in clinical trials through awareness of external environment, exploration of novel training/engagement tactics, and membership in internal and external partnerships.

Requirements

  • 10 years of pharmaceutical clinical development industry experience.
  • BA/BS and/or MS degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, build strong relationships, and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of the drug development process and project management of clinical trials.
