Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at Tenneco. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality training content that supports the learning and development needs of our employees. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and the ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop training content that meets the needs of our employees and supports the company's business objectives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that training content is accurate, relevant, and effective.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and learning technology.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that training content is aligned with business objectives and meets the needs of our employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field. Master's degree in Instructional Design or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Instructional Designer or similar role.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning materials.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
