Global Partners LP is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef in managing all aspects of the food service and beverage operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Chef in executing all fresh food and food service programs, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
- Manage the food service team, providing training and coaching to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Oversee inventory and ordering of products and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Analyze food service results and trends, developing action plans to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Chef to develop and implement new menu items and promotions, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Ensure a safe, sanitary, and appetizing food service environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; leadership experience in a food service environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable plans to improve food service operations.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality food preparation.
- Knowledge of food service operations, including inventory management, ordering, and supply chain logistics.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
