Position Overview

The Team:

The Hermès Greenwich Boutique is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clientele. This temporary role will collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and the sales team to enhance the client experience in a dynamic, luxury retail setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clerical assistance for both front and back of house operations within the Hermès boutique.
  • Ensure accurate processing of all transactions, including receipts, client verification, and monetary payments.
  • Assist in after-sales service administration as required.
  • Support the sales team in the selling process, including merchandising and stock retrieval.
  • Maintain an organized work station and selling floor to optimize sales efforts.
  • Assist in stockroom operations, including replenishment and inventory preparation.
  • Manage After Sales area tasks, such as logging repairs and maintaining customer records.
  • Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with point of sale systems and cash handling is highly desirable.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with composure and empathy.
  • Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
