About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and development of children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a therapeutic environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals we serve.
  • Conduct daily living activities, including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, and recreation.
  • Implement behavioral support plans and document progress.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with IDD, Mental Health, and/or dually diagnosed populations preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a car and passenger van.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
