About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Coach Counselor to join our team at Rite of Passage. As a Coach Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for our youth, helping them to grow and develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide around-the-clock supervision and support to our youth, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Participate in educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Monitor and document student behaviors and activities, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns to our management team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 21 years of age, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • One year of experience working with at-risk youth or in a security position, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and positive skill development.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
