Position Summary

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselor plays a crucial role in offering support and guidance to individuals facing personal and professional challenges. This position involves crisis intervention, brief solution-focused counseling, and referrals to appropriate treatment or community resources for team members and their eligible family members.

The EAP Counselor is responsible for conducting orientations and well-being workshops, as well as providing therapy and assessments through both in-person and virtual platforms. Additionally, the counselor will offer management and leadership consultation, coaching, and various organizational interventions to enhance workplace well-being. As a trusted resource, the EAP Counselor fosters a compassionate environment for team members and leadership alike.

Minimum Qualifications

- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.
- Required licensure: LMFT, LCMHC, LCSW, or PhD.
- Provisionally licensed clinicians may be considered, with the expectation of full licensure within two years.
- A minimum of two to three years of experience in short-term counseling or therapy within a clinical mental health setting; certification as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) is recommended but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
- Availability for rotating on-call duties.

Additional Information
  • Standard work hours are Monday through Friday (8 AM - 5 PM), with occasional early morning and evening commitments.
  • On-call responsibilities may be required.
  • No weekend work is expected.
