Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Technician to join our team at Middletown Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare. As a key member of our rehabilitation department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of residents to and from therapy, assisting therapists with treatments, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport residents to and from therapy sessions, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Assist therapists with treatments, including setting up and maintaining equipment, and providing support as needed.
  • Accompany residents on trips out of the facility, promoting socialization and engagement.
  • Perform light clerical work, including maintaining accurate records and communicating with therapists and nurses.
  • Keep the rehabilitation department clean and organized, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move patients as needed, with a physical ability to perform job-related duties.
  • Covid-19 vaccinations encouraged but not mandated.
