Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SOF Joint Training and Exercise Planner to support our team in Tampa, FL. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and prioritizing targets and executing full spectrum Special Operations targeting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement targeting strategies in accordance with Joint Publication 3-60 and the Joint Fires Targeting Handbook.
  • Coordinate and synchronize the targeting process with all CENTCOM Components and inter-agency stakeholders.
  • Enable strategic and operational level joint fires and targeting execution through subordinate commands.
  • Train and educate command staff on command theater strategic targeting process.
  • Prepare briefs, information papers, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain electronic resources for mission continuity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA)
  • 3+ years operational level planning experience including IW/UW planning
  • CENTCOM AOR operational experience in the past 5 years.
  • Knowledge of the Joint Targeting Cycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated complex problem solving knowledge and experience using relevant methodologies.
  • Qualifications and training obtained at Command and General Staff College or service equivalent.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
