We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Stroke Program Coordinator to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our neuroscience care team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.
Responsibilities- Coordinate stroke services and protocols to ensure compliance with governing agencies.
- Develop and review policies and procedures related to stroke care.
- Serve as a liaison with pre-hospital providers, other stroke centers, and community agencies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance stroke care.
- Manage staff development, problem resolution, and protocol performance.
- Graduate of a school of nursing.
- Minimum of three years of hospital nursing experience in Critical Care or Emergency nursing.
- Recent experience and proficiency with computer databases, word processing, and spreadsheet programs.
- Texas RN License.
- NIH Stroke Scale Certified (or obtain within 30 days).
