This position is hosted by Jobot. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of various projects. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality electrical designs that adhere to industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the following phases of project completion:

1. Proposal Phase:
  • Evaluate the feasibility of proposed projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals.
  • Contribute to the selection of the design team.

2. Schematic Phase:
  • Develop design alternatives and perform cost analyses.
  • Conduct code reviews.
  • Support clients in selecting preferred design schemes.
  • Assist in the preparation of sketches and draft reports.

3. Design Development Phase:
  • Provide input on project timelines.
  • Help create a comprehensive drawing list.
  • Assist in setting up projects in AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes through design checks.
  • Support the creation of engineering calculations and specifications.

4. Construction Document Phase:
  • Facilitate inter-discipline coordination.
  • Assist in finalizing drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct reviews and resolve comments from stakeholders.

5. Bidding Phase:
  • Support the issuance of bid documents.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings as necessary.
  • Assist in addressing bidders' inquiries.

6. Construction Administration Phase:
  • Maintain updated drawing sets and prepare submittals.
  • Review contractor inquiries and determine necessary revisions.
  • Participate in project evaluations post-completion.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineers (PE) Certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant design software.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
