We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Care team at Research Medical Center. As a Cardiac Telemetry nurse, you will be responsible for assessing acute changes in patients, monitoring and analyzing heart rhythms, and intervening in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and monitor patients with acute and chronic heart failure, electrophysiology, structural heart conditions, and post-operative open heart surgery patients
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with cardiology providers to ensure evidence-based care and provide high-level nursing care for a variety of patients requiring critical care
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in cardiac care
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 60 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse diploma required
