Cardiac Care Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Cardiology team at Meritas Health. As a member of our team, you will provide patient care under the direction of a physician, nurse practitioner, or other non-physician provider.

Responsibilities:
  • Competently assist providers to maximize patient volume, administer medications, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and return patient calls in a timely manner.
  • Ensure effective patient communication and efficient patient flow.
  • Document patient care accurately and timely.
  • Perform EMR tasks correctly and timely.
  • Process patient referrals timely and follow up to ensure the specialist report or test result is received.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or professional nursing.
  • Current license to practice in the state of Missouri.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a physician's office setting, preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association.
