Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Operations: Operate a passenger van to transport individuals to worksites, programs, or customer addresses according to assigned schedules and designated routes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking tire pressure, oil and water levels, and reporting any needed repairs to the supervisor.
  • Logistics and Administration: Maintain accurate logbooks documenting all pick-ups and deliveries, and ensure that necessary supplies and equipment are on board.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers, responding to their needs and ensuring their safety and comfort during transportation.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; three years of experience driving a passenger vehicle required.
  • Driving Record: Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no unacceptable number of points.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Safe driving practices, knowledge of motor vehicle operations and maintenance, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions

The Van Driver will work in a fast-paced environment, transporting passengers to various destinations. The physical demands of the job include standing, reaching, and talking, with occasional walking and sitting. The employee may occasionally lift or move products and supplies up to 50 pounds.
