Job Description
This Physician Assistant role is responsible for evaluating and treating patients with orthopedic injuries and conditions. You will work closely with surgeons and clinicians to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic injuries and conditions
- Order and interpret lab studies
- Provide therapeutic treatments, including oral medications and corticosteroid injections
- Perform minor procedures, such as fracture closed reduction and laceration repair
Requirements
- A graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant institution
- Certification through NCCPA
- A valid Rhode Island license
Work Environment
This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will be required to stand for long periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 per year
