Key Responsibilities
- Achieve a minimum of $30 million in new business volume for equipment financing and leasing, with a target of $40 million including syndication.
- Identify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and leveraging an existing network.
- Communicate effectively through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Travel 20-40% of the time to engage with prospects and clients.
- Oversee opportunities through the credit, asset management, legal, documentation, and funding processes.
- Assist in portfolio management tasks, including financial data collection, payment collections, and customer communications.
- Collaborate with capital markets to structure and syndicate large-ticket transactions.
- Utilize our CRM platform (Salesforce) to maintain an organized database.
- Work with the marketing team to implement database marketing initiatives for new business generation.
- Collaborate closely with the Vice President and Region Manager to analyze, price, and structure transactions.
- Aid in preparing investment presentations that reflect well-considered recommendations.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in a business development role within the equipment leasing and financing sector.
- Strong credit skills, either through formal training or relevant analytical experience.
- Proficient in document negotiation and secured asset financing principles.
- Established network of prospects and clients.
- Ability to engage effectively with C-Suite executives.
- Understanding of transaction structuring and the interplay between credit and asset values.
- Relevant experience in the B to BBB-/BB+ market.
- Knowledge of pricing transactions across banking and independent markets.
- Familiarity with tax-oriented financing solutions (FMV, TRAC/Split-TRAC, Synthetic and First Amendment leases).
- Proficient in Salesforce, SuperTrump, and Microsoft Office applications.
