Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Ortho Rhode Island. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Welcoming patients and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
  2. Preparing patients for exams and assisting healthcare providers during procedures
  3. Verifying patient records and maintaining accurate medical information
  4. Triage patient calls and messages, and scheduling follow-up appointments
  5. Maintaining exam rooms and ensuring adequate medical supplies
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Formal training as a medical assistant or certification as a medical assistant (preferred)
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring mobility, frequent walking, standing, and sitting, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Physical Demands
  • Requires normal (corrected) vision and coordination sufficient to operate office equipment
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position, with shifts assigned in advance and subject to change based on company schedule.
