Job Title: Room Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at ARRIVE Hotel Palm Springs. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality in our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain pristine, sanitary, and perfectly tidy hotel spaces, from guest rooms to common areas and staff offices.
  • Maintain and swap out menus, postcards, and additional collateral displayed in guest rooms.
  • Treat our furniture, fixtures, flooring, and beyond with the utmost care by following cleansing guidelines and using appropriate products in accordance with our standard procedures.
  • Clean guest rooms as instructed by supervisors based on priority and guest check-ins.
  • Empty trash containers.
  • Perform all duties required to provide and maintain tidy guest rooms, including but not limited to removing and replacing used towels, removing soap, dirt, dust, and hair buildup from mirrors, vanities, sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, shower curtains, and floors.
  • Replace facial, toilet tissue, and bathroom amenities in correct amount and location.
  • Inspect the condition of bathrobes and replace if soiled/damaged.
  • Remove dirty bed linens and make beds with clean linens.
  • Replace laundry bags and slips.
  • Clean closets and door tracks on check-out rooms, removing dust and debris.
  • Ensure the correct amount and placement of hangers, extra blanket/pillow.
  • Dust and polish all furniture.
  • Realign or adjust furniture when needed to match floor plan and designated placement.
  • Open all drawers/doors in check-out rooms for dusting and to remove any items left by guests.
  • Check under bed(s), chairs, and sofa for debris and remove if present.
  • Inspect the condition of all furniture for tears, rips, or stains and report any damages to the supervisor immediately.
  • Remove all dust, debris, and foreign particles from upholstered furniture, including crevices and under cushions.
  • Dust pictures, frames, and mirrors.
  • Remove dust and debris from television, clock radios, remote controls, and cable box.
  • Set the correct time on clock; correct TV channels when needed.
  • Cleanse all lamps and light switches in addition to testing them to ensure they're in proper working order.
  • Remove dust, spots, grease, and smudges from windows, ledges, frames, and telephones, then reposition properly.
  • Empty liquids from ice bucket and wipe all surfaces dry.
  • Remove dust, smudges, and spills from mini bar; ensure it is plugged in and securely locked.
  • Work a flexible schedule based on hotel occupancy and need periods.
  • Follow uniform guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Flexible open schedule.
  • Must be able to stand or walk a minimum of eight hours.
  • Requires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum of one-year experience in a similar position.
