Position Summary:
The Emergency Management Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of emergency preparedness training, including drills and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate emergency preparedness training activities, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
2. Assist in the development of comprehensive All Hazards Emergency Training programs.
3. Collaborate with the Director of Facility to organize and execute various emergency preparedness exercises, including Tabletop exercises and Full Scale Drills.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, with formal education equivalent to an Associate's Degree in a relevant field. A minimum of three years of experience in emergency response planning within a healthcare setting is preferred. Consideration will be given to candidates with military or public emergency response experience.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate records of emergency preparedness supplies and equipment, ensuring inventory is organized and up-to-date for audits.
2. Collaborate with local emergency response agencies and other relevant organizations.
3. Document and distribute minutes from Emergency Operations Center (EOC) meetings.
4. Collect and present EOC Performance Indicators (PI) data from stakeholders on a monthly basis.
5. Assist in the development of the EOC Annual Evaluation report.
