As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform only necessary and customer-requested services on vehicles, adhering to industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Test drive vehicles when practical to identify performance or drivability concerns before performing work.
- Clean spills and debris immediately to reduce hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain company-provided equipment and machinery, reporting any unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Attend required training sessions and seek additional training to enhance skills and effectiveness.
- Verify parts ordered for vehicles are correct and accurate, and document all pertinent information in the shop inspection or management system.
- Communicate effectively with managers, service advisors, and other technicians to contribute to the overall performance of the location.
- May require travel to different locations on an as-needed basis.
Requirements:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, as justified for business necessity.
- Math and computer skills with experience using software applications, including word processing, browsers, and email.
- Member service focus and knowledge of equipment/tool operation and diagnostic/repair procedures.
