Automotive Body Repair Specialist

Job Summary:
Courtesy Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Autobody Technician to join our team. As a key member of our body shop, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies and frames to their original specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle damage and frame alignment using diagnostic equipment and visual inspection techniques.
- Repair and realign vehicle frames and body components to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform welding, cutting, and other metalworking tasks to repair damaged vehicle structures.
- Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels, bumpers, fenders, and other body components.
- Utilize computerized measuring systems and alignment tools to ensure precise repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and other team members regarding repair processes and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in automotive body repair.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in automotive body repair.
- Must have transportation and own tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal automotive body repair program or apprenticeship.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Body Frame Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in welding, metalworking, and frame straightening techniques.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair methods, and materials.
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment, computerized measuring systems, and alignment tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.
