Courtesy Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Specialist to join our team at Courtesy Chevrolet. As a key member of our body shop, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies and frames to their original specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle damage and frame alignment using diagnostic equipment and visual inspection techniques.
  • Repair and realign vehicle frames and body components to manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform welding, cutting, and other metalworking tasks to repair damaged vehicle structures.
  • Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels, bumpers, fenders, and other body components.
  • Utilize computerized measuring systems and alignment tools to ensure precise repairs.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and other team members regarding repair processes and timelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in automotive body repair.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive body repair.
  • Must have transportation and own tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a formal automotive body repair program or apprenticeship.
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Body Frame Technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in welding, metalworking, and frame straightening techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair methods, and materials.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment, computerized measuring systems, and alignment tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.
