Job Description:

The Reliable Maintenance Technician IV plays a vital role in the ongoing maintenance, upkeep, and repairs of plant equipment at Potters Industries Inc. The primary areas of focus include Instrumentational and Automation Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all tasks in a safe manner, adhering to HSE rules and regulations.
  • Operate and conduct processes with precision, ensuring the highest level of safety.
  • Conduct PLC programming/automation activities, troubleshooting, and basic program changes.
  • Maintain, create, and design process control systems for the plant.
  • Install and maintain instrumentation throughout the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations.
  • Participate in regulatory inspections and maintenance of equipment and documents.
  • Take part in plant-wide HSE, quality, and productivity initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of automation, instrumentation, and electromechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
Essential Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Plant safety systems such as Confined Space entry, Hot Work permitting, and Lockout/Tagout of industrial equipment.
  • Basic skills in industrial instrumentation and electro-mechanical equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Ability to use computer software and operate machinery safely.
Estimated Salary:

$75,000 - $90,000 per year, based on location and experience.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing plant environment, Monday through Friday, 7AM-3PM.
