Job Overview

The Administrative Operations Specialist - Manufacturing position at Potters Industries Inc is a critical role that supports the success of our manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in all aspects of office administration, including filing records, maintaining correspondence, HR duties, handling mail, scheduling meetings, and stocking office supplies.
  • Operate in compliance with all health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations.
  • Perform payroll timesheet and timecard processing, maintain documents, and assist employees with onboarding, benefits, and new hire paperwork.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Maintain accurate records, process documentation, and track employee data, including vacation and PTO time.
  2. Coordinate temporary employees as needed, assist with ADP applications, and schedule annual physicals and flu shots for employees.
  3. Maintain employee postings, assist the warehouse with administrative tasks, and order office equipment.
Duties
  • Create and process purchase orders for raw materials via SAP.
  • Coordinate receiving production goods, record incoming raw cullet, and create receiving, invoicing, and BOLs for raw cullet.
  • Record waste tickets in SAP, process vendor verifications, and document invoices sent to Potters Corporate.
Working Conditions

This role operates primarily in an office environment but may require occasional time spent in the manufacturing plant.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience, with 3-5 years of manufacturing environment experience preferred.
Key Skills
  • Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • SAP experience and knowledge of administrative systems, including report writing, scheduling, filing, and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Estimated Salary

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience.
