About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced After School Sports Program Facilitator to join our team at Elevo. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading engaging and interactive sports and wellness programs for students in grades K-8.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality sports and wellness programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Lead groups of up to 20 students in various sports and activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, parents, and fellow coaches to ensure a seamless program experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, building trust and confidence through positive role modeling.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in sports and wellness programming.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience working with children in an educational or coaching setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and patient approach.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States and completion of a Live-Scan background check.
