Position Overview

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting system-wide recruitment needs, encompassing both clinical and non-clinical roles. Under the guidance of the Director of Recruitment, the Specialist will ensure the identification of quality candidates aligned with specified recruitment objectives by collaborating closely with hiring managers and Department Heads to devise and implement tailored recruitment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead planning and execution of career fairs and recruitment events, both virtual and in-person.
2. Oversee the recruitment sourcing process for senior-level positions.
3. Manage Action Requests for new positions, backfills, and promotions, ensuring timely updates and processing through the HR system.
4. Analyze recruitment trends and market conditions to recommend effective sourcing strategies.
5. Conduct weekly reviews of open vacancies and applicant statuses for the recruitment team.
6. Provide training and support to recruitment staff on the talent acquisition process.
7. Collaborate with the Director to create engaging graphics for challenging-to-fill roles.
8. Share qualified candidates with hiring managers and track their progress through the applicant tracking system (ATS).
9. Utilize social media and job boards to enhance sourcing efforts.
10. Maintain accurate records of recruitment campaigns and applicant activity in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
11. Partner with hiring managers and HR professionals to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
12. Screen applications and resumes to ensure candidates meet job requirements before forwarding to hiring managers.
13. Work with advertising agencies to promote hard-to-fill vacancies on third-party platforms as necessary.
14. Maintain confidentiality of HR files and perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

- A Bachelor's Degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Psychology, or a related field, with a focus on personnel administration or employee relations.
- A minimum of three years of experience in personnel management, employee relations, or public administration, with at least one year of progressively responsible experience in a similar role within a large organization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of personnel administration principles and their application in employee relations, including training and development, labor relations, and management practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- Three years of staffing/recruitment experience in a comparable role within a large system, preferably in healthcare.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with applicant tracking systems (PeopleSoft).
- Familiarity with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment and developing appealing recruitment materials.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and present large data sets effectively.
- Knowledge of HR policies, regulatory standards, and employment laws.
