EHS Program Manager

The EHS Supervisor is responsible for leading the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and procedures at TTM Technologies, Inc. This role seeks to identify and address hazards, eliminate/reduce risk to employees, and ensure organizational safety.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and respond to all health and safety incidents and near misses, and perform root cause analysis, containment, corrective/preventive action, and reporting to management.
- Track data and compile corporate KPI reports, provide business unit data as requested, and serve as liaison between corporate and site EHS.
- Provide training and guidance to leadership, ensuring adherence to annual corporate directives.
- Review and follow up on all employee safety observations and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Perform Job Safety Analyses and review employee work areas to prevent injuries/illnesses related to ergonomics or industrial hygiene concerns.
- Lead the site Safety Committee meetings, prepare/publish meeting minutes, and ensure completion of any identified corrective measures.
- Manage all activities related to hazardous and regulated wastes and emissions, including performing calculations to maintain compliance with storage and accumulation regulations per NHDES & EPA standards.
- Review chemical approvals, identify impacts to EH&S, file, and upload SDS.
- Update and maintain all EHS communications and documentation.
- Collaborate with all departments on EHS-related activities; ensure repair and improvement projects are conducted in a safe and compliant manner and Lockout Tagout procedures are up-to-date.
- Support leadership on any plans necessary for emergency preparedness or regulatory reasons.
- Coordinate internal and external EHS audits with corporate and site leadership.
- Manage worker's compensation cases from inquiry to closure.
- Establish safety training requirements surrounding directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.
- Conduct all new hire and annual safety trainings for employees and the safety team.
- Maintain all compliance and certification records and permits as required by internal processes, corporate needs, and local/state/federal agencies.
- Interface with outside regulatory agencies as required.
- Manage contractors working on site ensuring they are properly trained and insured as well as ITAR compliant.
- Knowledge and experience in occupational safety and environmental regulations, programs, and requirements.
- Experience with manufacturing ergonomics.
- Solid communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of employees to support effective training and partnering across all departments.
- Demonstrated project management skills to ensure high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive results.
- Ability to react quickly to day-to-day problems with timely solutions; swift decision making and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple and competing priorities.
- Analytical mindset; Six Sigma training preferred.
- Well-versed computer skills including MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Applied Science, Engineering, Occupational Safety, Nursing, or an alternative degree discipline. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of directly related EHS experience.
