This role is part-time, focusing on the hours of 4 PM to 6 PM, and is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized therapy to children with ASD, promoting communication, social skills, and independence.
  • Implement behavior management strategies and plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Gather and analyze data to track client progress and adapt interventions as necessary.
  • Utilize electronic documentation tools for real-time progress reporting.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client advancements and receive guidance from supervisors.
  • Receive comprehensive training in various ABA methodologies from experienced professionals.

Daily Activities:

  • Engage in one-on-one therapeutic sessions with children, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior modification.
  • Conduct assessments to determine client preferences and interests.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and therapy sessions.
  • Develop educational materials to enhance learning experiences.
  • Provide essential care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding client progress.
  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement personalized goals.
  • Uphold confidentiality and respect for all clients at all times.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through training and education.

Blue Balloon ABA is a multidisciplinary organization dedicated to providing comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. We focus on addressing the unique needs of children exhibiting signs of ASD through a collaborative approach that includes speech therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling. Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a background check upon hiring.
  • Experience working with children is preferred, especially with those on the autism spectrum.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and active engagement with children.
  • No current vaccine mandate for employment.
