Russell Tobin & Associates is collaborating with a prominent technology and consumer electronics firm to find a Project Manager.

Employment Type: Contract/Hybrid

Compensation: $100-$110/hr, DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations to achieve overall project goals and timelines from inception to completion.
  • Facilitate the development process by establishing an effective and efficient workflow within the team.
  • Develop and uphold project timelines for development phases.
  • Optimize resource allocation to ensure timely project execution.
  • Balance priorities across multiple initiatives with varying complexities.
  • Engage collaboratively with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams to meet ambitious cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Direct cross-functional communication among diverse project teams and external partners, implementing risk management strategies and ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Provide clear status updates and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Comprehend technical challenges and drive resolutions by uniting key decision-makers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Ability to synthesize and convey pertinent information to the appropriate audience.
  • Self-driven and proactive with proven analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with rapid development cycles and adaptability in uncertain situations.
  • Capable of redirecting challenges and formulating improved strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of product development methodologies and a solid grasp of manufacturing processes.
  • Experience collaborating with product design, operations, cross-functional teams, and managing international suppliers.
  • A minimum of 2-4+ years of combined experience in project management and mechanical engineering, delivering high-quality products made from various materials.
