Role Overview

The Operations Program Manager (OPM) is a pivotal role in the dynamic development and launch of Apple's products. This position is responsible for launching products on time, with high quality and maximum customer availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive ramp readiness with engineering, operations, and OEM teams.
  • Plan capacity and lead factory equipment budget.
  • Handle component readiness to ensure part availability, quality, and cost.
  • Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams.
  • Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality.
  • Lead all communications, upward and downward through the organization; raise key issues and options for resolution with executive teams.

Requirements:

This role requires 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or product development. A Bachelor's degree in an engineering field is also required. Ability to travel up to 20-25% is necessary. Results-oriented and keen attention to detail are essential. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management are also required. Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience are preferred. A Master's or MBA is considered a plus.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $151,200 and $227,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
