Video Engineering Program Manager

At Apple, we're looking for a skilled Video Engineering Program Manager to join our Audio and Media Technologies (AMT) team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing software development work in the video domain, working closely with software engineers to deliver exciting new features to our customers.
About the RoleThe AMT team provides the audio and video software foundation (API Frameworks) across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro to Apple TV, iTunes, HomePod, and Beats. We're seeking a talented program manager to own, or participate in, crafting and maintaining project implementation plans for the Media Processing Systems team's commitments using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodology.

- Maintaining a multi-year roadmap of feature commitments.
- Ensuring strong communication channels between the media teams and other engineering partners.
- Driving cross-functional software implementation for supported teams and features.
- Tracking and reporting on progress, risks, and opportunities related to the project or technology area.
We're looking for a candidate with 5+ years of project/program management experience in a high-tech environment, with experience delivering customer-facing features or projects from concept through delivery. You should have a strong technical proficiency in audio, video, graphics, or machine learning (AIML) and experience with audio/video technologies like content playback, encoder/decoder compression (Codec), content protection/DRM, and distribution of video content over CDN.
