Job Summary:

The Cultivation Associate will play a critical role in our plant cultivation process. This individual will be responsible for providing care and support for our plants, ensuring they receive the necessary attention to thrive. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of horticulture and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sow, pot, thin, weed, water, transplant, and move plants to ensure optimal growth and health.

  • Monitor plants for pests and diseases, taking prompt action to prevent the spread of any issues.

  • Manage marijuana plants, providing individualized attention to each plant to ensure they receive the necessary care.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

  • Track and record all veg or flower room data as directed, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

  • Participate in overall facility cleanliness, contributing to a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Collaborate with the management team and other coworkers to achieve shared goals and objectives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.


Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Relevant work experience in a hydroponic vegetable production or bedding plant production facility is desired.

  • Prior nursery, landscaping, and/or agricultural experience preferred.

  • Cannabis experience helpful, but not required.

  • Ability to work in a safety-aware environment, with attention to detail and effective communication skills.

  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere and adapt to a fast-paced environment.


Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 75 pounds (125 pounds with assistance), as well as walk or stand for extended periods. Moderate to loud exposure to noise levels is also expected.
