About the Job:
The Cultivation Associate provides critical support for plant cultivation, adhering to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. Key responsibilities include:
  • Plant care and maintenance, including sowing, potting, thinning, weeding, watering, transplanting, and moving plants.
  • Monitoring plant health and identifying potential issues, such as pests and diseases.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including the veg, flower, and propagation rooms.
  • Tracking and recording data as directed, including plant growth and development.
  • Collaborating with the management team and other coworkers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Performing repetitive tasks, such as trimming plants, potting, and regular inventory, with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience in a hydroponic vegetable production or bedding plant production facility is desired.
  • Prior nursery, landscaping, and/or agricultural experience preferred.
  • Cannabis experience is helpful.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to work in a safety-aware environment and maintain open communication with the management team and other coworkers.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 75 pounds (125 pounds with assistance).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
About You:
Due to state regulations, qualified candidates must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check. Certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state medical marijuana licensing regulations.
