About the Job:
The Cultivation Associate provides care and support for plant cultivation, adhering to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Sow, pot, thin, weed, water, transplant, and move plants
    • Identify and address plant pests and other perils to ensure plant health
    • Manage marijuana plants, providing individualized attention
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
    • Execute activities in the veg, flower, and propagation rooms
    • Track and record veg or flower room data as directed
    • Ensure veg, flower, propagation, and dry rooms are immaculate and fully operational
    • Participate in overall facility cleanliness
    • Execute activities in the mom and veg rooms
    • Track clones and moms
    • Maintain mother plant and veg plant health
    • Inform supervisor of growing environment issues
    • Maintain open communication with the management team and other coworkers
    • Follow operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information, and policies
    • Meet physical demands of the job, including lifting, carrying, and balancing up to 75 pounds

    Requirements:
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Relevant work experience in hydroponic vegetable production or bedding plant production
    • Prior nursery, landscaping, and/or agricultural experience preferred
    • Cannabis experience helpful
    • Experience with automation systems
    • Basic math skills
    • Ability to work in a safety-aware environment
    • Attention to detail
    • Effective communication skills
    • Strong work ethic
    • Willingness to learn
    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods
    • Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong ethics and sound judgment

    About You:
    Due to state regulations, qualified candidates must be at least 21 years old and pass a background check. Certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state medical marijuana licensing regulations.
