Job Title:
Senior Director Tax Knowledge Management

Job Summary:
KPMG is seeking a Senior Director, Tax Knowledge Management to lead the assessment of third-party tax research tools and content vendors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the information and publishing markets for tax professionals, including full working knowledge of Big 4 internal KM systems as well as commercial tax research and news tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the assessment of third-party tax research tools and content vendors
  • Oversee licensing third-party tax research, news tools and Gen AI for the tax practice
  • Assist with developing AI and Gen AI strategies in coordination with other KPMG practices
  • Provide insights on Tax KM operations and assist with planning
  • Counsel and mentor Tax KM executives and staff resources


Requirements:
  • Minimum ten years of recent experience managing or overseeing a Tax KM function at a large accounting / service provider firm
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • Deep knowledge of the information and publishing markets for tax professionals, including full working knowledge of Big 4 internal KM systems as well as commercial tax research and news tools
  • Proficient in the tax information needs and preferences of Big 4 tax professionals, including by practice area
  • Solid knowledge of AI and Gen AI efforts to date in the tax information market
  • Strong writing, team building and communication skills
