Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join our Development & Exempt Organizations practice at KPMG. As a key member of our team, you will provide tax compliance and advisory services to tax-exempt organizations, working closely with experienced exempt organization professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to tax-exempt organizations
  • Work as part of a dedicated team of experienced exempt organization professionals
  • Build and manage a portfolio of client relationships of varying size and scope
  • Guide teams of professionals working on client projects
  • Manage risk and financial performance of engagements
  • Lead, participate in, and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager
  • Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects
  • Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm
Requirements
  • Minimum five years of recent focused exempt organization experience in an accounting firm, organization, and/or law firm
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM or completion of one of the following advanced degrees or professional designations: PHD, DBA, MBA, MDS, MEC, MED, MTX, MIE, MPOD, MPH, MHA, MPAD, MIR, MNPM, MPP, MIAFF, CSA, ARMC, CFA, CFE, CFF, CGFM, CHC, CIA, CMA, CNPM, FRM or CMI
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of tax law
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
