Job Description

GPAC is seeking a highly skilled Field Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Field Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for steel mills and specialty metals facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and configure PLCs, drives, and HMIs to meet operational requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Conduct fieldwork to install, test, and maintain systems at various client locations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and maintenance staff.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to different project sites.
