The Opportunity:
We are in search of a seasoned, strategic, and highly collaborative product leader to spearhead our Member Engagement team at Social Finance Ltd. This team is responsible for the platforms and experiences that drive our marketing communications, including emails, push notifications, and SMS. You will enhance consumer experiences and scale the technology frameworks utilized by our Marketing and Product teams to craft and deliver communications. This role is pivotal to Social Finance Ltd's objectives of boosting member acquisition, engagement, and retention, aligning with our overarching mission to assist our members in managing their finances effectively.
Your responsibilities will include establishing the vision, pinpointing opportunities and essential inputs, setting objectives, defining member and marketer experiences, and delivering features. As a product leader, we expect you to set ambitious goals, demonstrate resilience, and hold yourself and your cross-functional teams accountable for achieving results on behalf of our members. You will serve as a vocal and empathetic advocate for our customers, influencing and creating cross-functional experiences with stakeholders across all business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for member engagement experiences and platforms at Social Finance Ltd.
- Identify innovative product features, utilizing advanced technology, data, tools (including ML or AI), and industry best practices to deliver exceptional value and a superior experience for our members.
- Create and promote a comprehensive product vision and manage a multi-year product roadmap, prioritizing and driving backlogs for launch with your dedicated engineering teams.
- Effectively communicate the vision, strategy, execution plan, and customer impact/insights to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Collaborate closely with the entire cross-functional team (e.g., marketing, product, design, engineering, platform, data, compliance, risk, finance, and operations) to execute the strategic vision.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
- 7-10 years of experience in product management.
- Proven experience leading Communications and/or MarTech cross-functional teams.
- Technical proficiency with marketing systems and the ability to work closely with marketing leadership.
- A comprehensive operator: capable of both formulating and executing business and product strategies with clear objectives in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to operate across functions, leading and influencing colleagues to facilitate timely decision-making that advances our goals.
- A flexible and collaborative approach to problem-solving and ideation in a complex environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to executive leadership.
- A data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
- A genuine passion for customer advocacy, always prioritizing their needs.
