Job Summary:

Randstad is seeking an experienced Executive Director of Operations to lead company operations and drive growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing management and a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement plans to position the organization for growth and efficiency.
  • Serve as a Visionary: Lead the company in lean manufacturing, team leadership, and financial management.
  • Develop and Control Profits: Work with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel.
  • Establish and Monitor Plant Performance: Ensure production and quality standards are met while minimizing labor overtime and repair expenses.
  • Maintain Plant Facilities and Equipment: Ensure existing facilities and equipment are maintained, and replace or make adjustments as necessary.
  • Travel to Regional Plant Locations: Occasionally travel to other regional plant locations, approximately 20% of the time.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Similar: A degree in engineering or a related field is required.
  • At Least 5 Years of Management Experience in Manufacturing: A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing management is required.
  • Strong Leadership and Mentoring Abilities: Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities to manage growth and expansion.
  • ERP Knowledge: Solid, effective knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Plastic Injection/Extrusion Experience: Experience in plastic injection or extrusion is highly preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing Experience and Leadership: Experience and leadership in lean manufacturing and an ISO9001 culture.
  • Excellent Communication, Analytical, and Financial Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and financial skills.
  • Mechanical Background and PLC Knowledge: A mechanical background and PLC knowledge are a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish: Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Qualifications:
  • Experience Level: Manager
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (required)
Skills:
  • Manufacturing Management: Experience in manufacturing management.
